Base Map |
Addresses |
Points of Interest |
All of our maps are composed of vector objects (polygons and points). This results in maps that are crisp, fast and do not pixelate on any digital screen. The base map contains all the geometric information about a building including rooms, walls, doors and more.
|
The most important data layer on the map are the addresses. The HERE Venues maps follow the same unique addressing format used by the venue. This includes room numbers, store numbers, gate numbers, cubicle numbers, booth numbers etc. By following the same addressing format as the venue, you can quickly integrate information from your content-management system to our maps. | Points of interests are the occupants inside the building. In shopping malls, its stores. At an office, its people and conference rooms. At an airport, it is restaurants. The points of interest data also includes phone numbers, hours of operations, and more details as available. |

Navigation |
Geospatial Information |
|
All maps come standard with routing and directions. With our navigation data, we offer point to point routes across multiple floors (even multiple buildings in a campus!). We are experimenting with a novel approach to turn-by-turn direction. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more. |
In addition to the standard X-Y coordinate system, our maps also include geospatial data (latitude/longitude). With geo-data, the maps can return information like the distance between two points or computing the floor area. The geospatial data also enables us to connect with any indoor positioning system (beacons, wifi, LEDs, magnetic, etc). |
